Jonathan has been in the adult education field for about 15 years. He has been in the recovery world for 12 years and full time as a pastor for the past 3. Previously, Jonathan was the Celebrate Recovery Ministry Leader at Heartland Community Church. He holds a bachelor's degree from Rockford College and a Master's Degree from Northern Illinois University. Jonathan is a member of the American Association of Christian Counselors.
Jonathan is a Rockford native. He lives here with his wife Amanda and his two daughters, Addilyn and Abbott. He spends his free time reigning over his Animal Crossing islands.
Makayla's commitment to encouraging growth, even when it's hard, has developed through seeing the roots of change form and take shape in her own journey with the help of Rooted Care Ministries. She is now inspired to help others see similar results in their own lives. Makayla has her Associate’s Degree and Mass Communication Certificate.
Makayla enjoys thrift shopping, working on crafty projects, and browsing artists' pages online.

Amanda has dedicated her professional life to students as both a classroom teacher and school administrator. In these roles, she has found that helping students process the unique challenges that come with growing up. Amanda has a Bachelor's Degree in education from Rockford College.
Amanda grew up in the suburbs of Chicago before moving to the Rockford area when she was in 7th grade. She and her husband Jonathan have two daughters, Addilyn and Abbott. Amanda loves shopping at Target and Bath and Body Works. She is also an animal lover and is obsessed pigs of all types.
Killian has a passion for people and their journey to mental healthiness. Understanding the impact of his own adolescent years, Killian has a heart for young people and helping them develop skill sets to thrive in their journeys. Killian, a certified welder and marine corps alum, has 10 years experience in worship, technical arts, and production of services and ministry events. He studied Media Communications.
Killian enjoys spending time with his wife and their dog Teddy, watching science fiction and superhero movies and playing Lego themed video games.
Keyla is originally from Puerto Rico. In 2017, she and her husband were led to Rockford, Illinois, where they work as teachers. Keyla has a heart for bringing the good news of Jesus to others. She particularly enjoys helping people heal from past wounds, so they are able to receive the unconditional, everlasting and pure love of their perfect heavenly Father.
In her free time, she enjoys nerding out by reading, conducting research or taking courses. She also enjoys baking, crocheting and spending time with her husband and three cats. Her dream is to develop and lead an orphanage and travel the world to learn about different cultures.
